Cribbage Board
Classic two-player cribbage against the computer. Build the crib, peg to 31, count your hands and race to 121 points.
How to play
- Each player gets six cards, keeps four and sends two to the crib, which belongs to the dealer.
- Then take turns playing cards to a running count that cannot pass 31. Score for 15s, 31, pairs, runs and the last card.
- When pegging ends, count each hand and the crib using the starter card: fifteens, pairs, runs, flushes and nobs.
- The first player to reach 121 wins. Finish before your opponent reaches 91 for a skunk.
Tips and strategy
- Keep cards that make fifteens, pairs and runs together. Fives and tens are valuable.
- As dealer, send good crib cards such as a pair or cards adding to 15. As the other player, send awkward ones.
- While pegging, avoid making the count 5, 10 or 21 if you can, which hands your opponent easy points.
- The Hint button shows a sound choice for the discard or the play.
