Vowel Thief
A thief has stolen every vowel from a saying, a food or a famous place. Put the As, Es, Is, Os and Us back to restore it. New phrase every day.
How to play
- Only the consonants are showing. Every blank is a missing vowel: A, E, I, O or U.
- Pick a blank, then tap or type the vowel that belongs there. The cursor moves on to the next blank for you.
- Check marks wrong vowels in red. Hint gives you one correct vowel. Both are counted on your result.
- Fill every blank correctly to catch the thief and see the full phrase.
Tips and strategy
- Read the consonants out loud. The shape of the words often tells you the phrase before you fill a single blank.
- The category shown above the puzzle, such as Saying, Food or Place, narrows the options a lot.
- Y is never a missing vowel. If you see it, it is already part of the clue.
- Short words like THE, AND and OF are good places to start.
FAQ
- Is Y counted as a vowel?
- No. Only A, E, I, O and U were stolen, so Y always stays in view.
- Do hints affect my streak?
- No. Hints and checks only appear on your result and in your share text.
- Can I play a different phrase?
- Yes. Practice gives you a random phrase any time. Only the daily phrase counts toward your streak.
