True or False Rush
Judge as many true or false facts as you can in 45 seconds. Wrong answers cost you three seconds, so speed and care both count. New order each day.
How to play
- Press Start the clock. A statement appears and you have 45 seconds in total to work through as many as you can.
- Press True or False, or use the T and F keys or the left and right arrows. The next statement appears straight away.
- A wrong answer takes three seconds off the clock, so guessing carelessly costs you time.
- When the clock runs out you see how many you got right, your accuracy and a grade. Share it to challenge friends.
Tips and strategy
- Watch for absolute words such as always, never and only, which often make a statement false.
- Many of the false statements are popular myths, so trust what you know over what sounds familiar.
- Do not rush the easy ones into mistakes. Three seconds is roughly three correct answers lost.
- Keyboard play is quicker than tapping, with T and F or the arrow keys.
FAQ
- What happens if I run out of statements?
- The run ends. The bank is large enough that a normal 45-second run never reaches the end.
- Are the facts checked?
- Yes. Every statement is a plain, well-established fact or a well-known myth, and ambiguous ones are left out.
- Can I play more than once a day?
- The daily run counts once and is saved. Practice runs are unlimited and use a fresh random order each time.
