Is the next mountain taller, the next river longer, the next food richer? Chain your guesses through five themes and see how long your streak runs before your first miss.
How to play
- You see one item and its number, and a second item with its number hidden. Guess whether the hidden number is higher or lower.
- After each guess the real value is revealed and the second item becomes the next one to beat.
- Your run ends at your first wrong guess, so every correct answer in a row counts toward your streak.
- A perfect run is thirty comparisons across five themes. Your score is the length of your streak.
Tips and strategy
- Use what you know about the scale. If you know one value is large, ask whether the other thing is even in that league.
- Each theme gives you the units, so keep an eye on them. A mile and a kilometre differ a lot.
- Values within a theme are all different, so you never have to guess a tie.
- Trust a first instinct on things you actually know, and think harder on the ones you do not.

- They are rounded, widely published reference figures. The unit is shown beside every value.
