Tile Pick Three
Pick tiles from a stacked pile into a seven-slot tray. Match three of a kind to clear them, and do not let the tray fill up.
How to play
- Tiles are stacked in layers. You can only pick a tile that is not covered by another tile on top of it.
- Each tile you pick drops into the tray at the bottom. Three matching tiles in the tray vanish together.
- The tray holds seven tiles. If it fills up without a match, you lose, so think before every pick.
- Clear every tile to win. You get three undos, and Restart lets you try the same layout again.
Tips and strategy
- Before picking, count how many of each type are uncovered. Go for types where you can reach all three.
- Start by uncovering tiles on the top layers that hide many others.
- Avoid filling the tray with singles of different types, since each one eats a slot.
- Every layout can be cleared, so if you get stuck, restart and use what you learned about where the types are.
FAQ
- Can every layout be cleared?
- Yes. Layouts are generated from a working clear order, so a complete solution always exists.
- Is the daily layout the same for everyone?
- Yes. The daily layout is built from the UTC date at Medium difficulty and resets at 00:00 UTC.
- What do the covered tiles look like?
- Covered tiles are darker and cannot be picked until the tiles above them are gone.
