Scale Solve
Every shape has a secret weight. Read the balance scales, work out each shape, and set the weights until every scale balances. Daily puzzle.
How to play
- Each scale shows some shapes on one side and a total weight on the other. Every shape of one kind weighs the same whole number.
- Use the plus and minus buttons to set a weight for each shape. A scale turns green when your weights make it balance.
- The puzzle is solved when every scale is green. Each puzzle has exactly one answer.
- Pick 2, 3 or 4 shapes for practice. The daily puzzle always uses three shapes.
Tips and strategy
- Start with a scale that has only one kind of shape. It tells you that shape's weight straight away.
- Then use that weight to work out a scale with two kinds of shape.
- Weights are always whole numbers from 1 up to a small limit shown above the scales.
- The Hint button reveals one shape's weight, but it is counted in your result.
FAQ

- No. Every shape in a puzzle has a different weight.
- Is there always only one answer?
- Yes. The scales are built so exactly one set of weights balances all of them.
- Is the daily puzzle the same for everyone?
- Yes. It is built from the date, so everyone gets the same puzzle each day.
