Picture Slide
Slide the tiles of a drawn scene back into place. Three, four or five tiles per side, a target preview, and optional tile numbers to help.
How to play
- A scene is cut into square tiles with one gap. Tap a tile in the gap's row or column to slide that whole line one step toward the gap, or use the arrow keys.
- Rebuild the picture in as few moves as you can. The small preview shows what the finished scene looks like.
- Choose a three, four or five tiles per side board. Bigger boards take longer.
- Switch tile numbers on if the picture alone is hard to follow. Reshuffle starts a fresh scene and shuffle.
Tips and strategy
- Solve the top row first, then the next row, and leave the last two rows for the end.
- Use the sparkle dots and the horizon line to tell similar tiles apart.
- Every board is shuffled so that it can always be solved.
- Turn on numbers to check your work, then turn them off for a purer challenge.
FAQ
- Can every shuffle be solved?
- Yes. The shuffle only uses real slides from the finished picture, so it always has a solution.
- How is my best score kept?
- The fewest moves is saved per board size in your browser, so each size has its own record.
- What do the arrow keys do?
- They slide the tile next to the gap in that direction, so you can play without the mouse.
