Drop Four
Drop discs into the board and connect four in a row before the computer does. Three difficulty levels.
How to play
- Choose Easy, Medium or Hard, then tap the arrow above a column to drop your disc. It falls to the lowest free square.
- The computer answers straight away. Take turns until someone connects four discs in a row, column or diagonal.
- If the board fills with no winner, the game is a draw.
- Wins are counted separately for each level and saved on this device.
Tips and strategy
- The centre column is part of the most winning lines, so it is the strongest opening.
- Look for a move that creates two threats at once; the computer can only block one.
- Check the computer's threats before yours. A three in a row with an open end must be blocked now.
- Beware of giving the computer the square above your own blocking disc.
FAQ
- How smart is the computer?
- Easy looks one move ahead and sometimes plays randomly. Medium searches four moves deep and Hard searches six, so Hard will punish any loose play.
- Is it an online game?
- No. The computer opponent runs in your browser, which means no account or connection is needed.
