Words fall from the sky and you type them to pop them before they hit the ground. Faster rain, longer words, three lives. How big a downpour can you survive?
How to play
- Words drop down the screen. Type one into the box to pop it as soon as you finish spelling it.
- As you type, every word that still matches turns green so you can see which ones you are heading for.
- A word that reaches the dashed line costs you a life. You have three lives.
- Every eight words you pop raises the level, so the rain falls faster and the words get longer.
Tips and strategy
- Go for the lowest word first. It is the one closest to costing you a life.
- Press Enter to fire a word early when a shorter word is also the start of a longer one.
- Escape clears what you have typed if you start spelling the wrong word.
- Popping a word higher up scores a few bonus points, but staying alive matters more.

- Do I have to press Enter?
- No. A word pops the moment you type it fully, unless it is also the start of a longer word on screen, in which case press Enter.
- Does capitalisation matter?
- No. Everything is lowercase and anything that is not a letter is ignored.
- Where do the words come from?
- They are everyday English words of four to seven letters from a built-in list. Nothing is sent over the network.
