Letter Drop
Drop letters into five columns and spell words across and down. Words clear, letters fall and chains score big. Survive until the board fills.
How to play
- A letter is ready to drop, with the next one shown beside it. Tap a column, or press 1 to 5, to drop the letter to the bottom of that column.
- Any word of three to six letters across a row or down a column clears. The letters above it fall, and a fall can make new words.
- A word scores its length squared. Each new word in a chain of falls multiplies the points by the chain number.
- You can bin a letter you cannot use, three times per game. The game ends when every column is full.
Tips and strategy
- Keep vowels coming down by leaving room beside consonants. Words need both.
- Build toward a word that will clear and cause a second word to line up as the letters fall.
- Short words clear space. Long words score much more, so go for them when the board has room.
- Save the bin for awkward letters such as Q, J or X when the board is crowded.
