Target Tap
Twenty targets appear one at a time at random sizes and places. Tap each as fast as you can and avoid misses. The layout is the same for everyone each day.
How to play
- Press Start. A single target appears on the board.
- Tap it as quickly as you can. The next target appears straight away somewhere else.
- Each hit scores up to 1000 points depending on how fast you were. Every tap that misses a target costs 100 points.
- After 20 targets you see your score, your average time and your misses.
Tips and strategy
- Rest your finger or cursor near the middle so every corner is a short move.
- Accuracy matters. A rushed miss costs more than a few hundredths of a second.
- Small targets score the same as big ones, so slow down just enough to land the tap.
- Practice mode gives a fresh random layout every time.
FAQ
- Is the daily layout the same for everyone?
- Yes. Target positions and sizes come from the UTC date, so everyone plays the same twenty targets.
- How is the score calculated?
- A hit is worth 1000 points minus 0.6 points per millisecond, never less than 50. Each miss subtracts 100 from the total.
- Does my device affect the timing?
- A little. Screen and input delay vary between devices, so compare your own scores rather than other people's.
