Skyscraper Rows
Fill a grid with towers so every row and column holds each height once, and the clues around the edge match the towers you can see. Daily and practice.
How to play
- Select a square and place a height from 1 up to the grid size. Each height appears exactly once in every row and every column.
- A clue on the edge tells you how many towers are visible from that side. Taller towers hide shorter ones behind them.
- Pre-filled squares are locked. Repeats are shown in red, and clues that cannot be met turn red once their line is full.
- You can also type digits on a keyboard, and Backspace to erase.
Tips and strategy
- A clue of 1 means the tallest tower sits right at that edge.
- A clue equal to the grid size means the heights ascend in order from that side.
- Combine row and column repeats first, then use the clues to place the tallest tower.
- The tallest tower is always visible, and it hides everything behind it.
FAQ
- Do I need to guess?
- Puzzles are built from a valid solution, and the game accepts any grid that satisfies every rule and clue.
- What does a red clue mean?
- Its row or column is full but the number of visible towers does not match the clue.
- Is the daily shared?
- Yes. The daily is built from the UTC date and everyone gets the same puzzle until 00:00 UTC.
