Camp Grid
Pitch one tent beside every tree so no two tents touch, matching the tent counts for each row and column. A shared daily grid plus practice sizes.
How to play
- Every tree needs exactly one tent pitched on a square directly beside it, above, below, left or right. Each tent belongs to one tree.
- Tents may never touch each other, not even at a corner. Tap an empty square once for a tent, twice for a grass note that marks it as tent-free, and a third time to clear it.
- The numbers at the end of each row and under each column say how many tents that line holds. They turn green when the count is right and red when it is too high.
- The puzzle completes when every tree has its own tent, nothing touches and all the counts match.
Tips and strategy
- A row or column that needs zero tents lets you grass over the whole line straight away.
- A square that touches no tree beside it can never hold a tent, so mark it as grass.
- When a tree has only one free neighbour, that neighbour must be its tent.
- Squares touching an existing tent, even diagonally, can be marked as grass.
FAQ
- Is there only one solution?
- Not necessarily. Any layout that follows every rule counts as solved, because the game checks the rules and not a stored answer.
- What are the grass notes for?
- They are only reminders for squares you have ruled out. They never affect whether the puzzle is solved.
- Is the daily grid the same for everyone?
- Yes. It is built from the UTC date and resets at 00:00 UTC.
