Plot Point
Tap the exact spot on a coordinate grid for each (x, y) pair. Learn positive and negative coordinates by racing the clock.
How to play
- Read the coordinate pair shown at the top, such as (3, -2).
- Tap the matching point on the grid. The first number is across, the second is up or down.
- A right tap adds 1.5 seconds. A wrong tap costs 3 seconds.
- The first few points are in the top right corner. After that all four quadrants are used.
Tips and strategy
- Always move along x first, then along y. Think of walking to the door, then up the stairs.
- Negative x is to the left of the middle line. Negative y is below it.
- The thicker middle lines are the axes where one coordinate is zero.
- Chain right answers to raise the points per tap.
FAQ
- How big is the grid?
- It runs from -5 to 5 on both axes, so there are 121 points in all.
- Why does a wrong tap flash red?
- The red flash marks the cell you tapped, so you can see how far off it was.
- Does the same point come up twice in a row?
- No. The next point is always different from the last one.
