Nine Fit
Place block shapes on a 9 by 9 board and clear full rows, full columns and full 3 by 3 boxes. A shared daily set of pieces plus endless practice.
How to play
- Pick one of the three pieces, then tap a square on the board to drop it there. The piece is centred on the square you tap.
- A row, a column or a 3 by 3 box that is completely full is cleared. Clearing several at once scores much more.
- Pieces cannot be rotated. When all three are placed you get three new ones.
- The game ends when none of your remaining pieces fit anywhere on the board.
Tips and strategy
- Keep the corners and one 3 by 3 box open for the big square pieces.
- Boxes count as lines, so filling one box while finishing a row clears both at once.
- Avoid scattering single blocks. A tidy edge gives long bars somewhere to land.
- Place the awkward piece first while the board still has room.
FAQ
- Is the daily set of pieces the same for everyone?
- Yes. The pieces you are dealt are built from the UTC date, so everyone faces the same sequence until 00:00 UTC.
- Can I replay the daily?
- The daily counts once and your score is saved. Use Practice for as many random rounds as you like.
- What is different from other block puzzles?
- The board is 9 by 9 and the 3 by 3 boxes clear like rows and columns do, which opens up combos a plain grid cannot.
