Light Path
Place slanted mirrors to steer a laser beam onto the target. Walls and fixed mirrors get in the way. Daily puzzle and three practice sizes.
How to play
- A laser fires to the right from the arrow on the left edge. Your goal is to make the beam reach the target marked with a circle.
- Tap an empty square to place a mirror. Tap once for a rising slash, twice for a falling slash and a third time to remove it.
- Mirrors that are already on the board are fixed. Dark squares are walls that stop the beam.
- You can place only as many mirrors as the counter shows. The lit squares show where the beam goes right now. Solve it as fast as you can.
Tips and strategy
- Work backwards from the target. Decide which side the beam has to arrive from, then find the square where it must turn.
- A rising slash turns a beam heading right into one heading up. A falling slash turns it down.
- Count your mirrors. If the puzzle gives you three, the beam turns exactly three times in the intended route.
- Use Clear to start again. The beam preview updates after every tap, so you can test an idea cheaply.
FAQ
- Is there always a solution?
- Yes. Every puzzle is built by drawing a route first and then adding the mirrors, so at least one solution is guaranteed.
- Can there be more than one solution?
- Sometimes. Any layout that lights the target counts as solved.
- Is the daily the same for everyone?
- Yes. It is built from the date, so everyone gets the same puzzle on the same day.
