Lane Hopper
Hop across busy roads and rivers for as long as you can. Dodge the cars, ride the logs, and never stop moving forward in this endless crossing game.
How to play
- Use the arrow keys, WASD or the on-screen buttons to hop one square forward, back, left or right.
- On roads, wait for a gap and then hop between the cars. A hit ends the run.
- On rivers, hop onto a log. You ride it sideways, and you drown if there is no log under you.
- Your score is how many rows you cross. The screen scrolls as you move up, so don't fall too far behind.
Tips and strategy
- Look one lane ahead before you hop. You can wait on a grass strip for as long as you like.
- Logs carry you toward the edge of the screen. Hop forward before you get swept off.
- Trucks are slower to pass than cars, but they leave a longer wait for the next gap.
- Short buttons presses are best. Mashing queues up hops you may not want.
FAQ
- Is every crossing possible?
- Yes. Road and river lanes never run for more than a few rows in a row, so there is always a grass strip to rest on.
- Why did the run end when nothing hit me?
- If you fall more than a few rows behind the furthest row you reached, the screen leaves you behind.
- Can I play on a phone?
- Yes. The four on-screen buttons hop in each direction.
