Alien Rows
Slide your cannon along the bottom and shoot down five rows of marching aliens before they land. Each wave is faster, and the aliens fire back.
How to play
- Drag across the playfield, or use the left and right arrow keys, to move your cannon.
- Tap the field, press Fire or hit Space to shoot. You can only have one shot in the air at a time.
- Shoot every alien in the formation to clear the wave. The formation speeds up as it thins out.
- Dodge the red bombs. You have three lives. The game ends when you run out, or when the aliens reach your line.
Tips and strategy
- Pick off the end columns first. That shrinks the formation's sweep and buys you time before the next drop.
- The top rows are worth the most points but the bottom row is the nearest threat.
- Move early. A bomb takes about a second to reach you, so step aside before it is close.
- After a hit you are briefly invulnerable. Use that moment to reposition and fire.
FAQ
- Why can I only fire one shot at a time?
- It keeps the game about aim and timing. A shot that misses has to leave the screen before you can fire again.
- How is scoring done?
- Aliens score 10, 20 or 30 points depending on their row, and clearing a whole wave adds a 100 point bonus.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. Drag your finger to move the cannon, and tap to fire or use the Fire button.
