Grid Flash
Squares flash on a grid for a moment. Tap them all from memory. Every round adds more squares and the grid grows as you improve.
How to play
- Press Show pattern. Some squares light up for a short time, then go dark.
- Tap every square that was lit. You do not need to follow any order.
- A wrong tap adds a mistake and shows the pattern again so you can try the round once more.
- Clear every round to finish. Rounds get harder with more squares and bigger grids.
Tips and strategy
- Group the lit squares into shapes such as a line, an L or a corner instead of remembering each one on its own.
- Look at the pattern as a whole picture rather than scanning square by square.
- Use the first moment of the flash to find the extremes, such as the top-left lit square.
- Stay relaxed. Replays are free apart from the mistake count.
FAQ
- How long is the pattern shown?
- The flash lasts a little longer for every extra square, starting at about one and a half seconds.
- Is the daily pattern the same for everyone?
- Yes. All six daily rounds are built from the UTC date.
- Does the order of my taps matter?
- No. Only the set of squares you tap has to match.
