Sequence Tap
Watch four coloured pads flash in order, then repeat the pattern. Each round adds a step, so how long can your memory hold?
How to play
- Press Start. The four pads light up one after another to show a sequence.
- When the message says it is your turn, tap the pads in exactly the same order.
- Each round you complete adds one more step to the sequence and plays it again from the start.
- One wrong tap ends the run. Your score is the number of rounds you completed, and your best is saved on this device.
Tips and strategy
- Say the colours quietly to yourself as they flash, since words are easier to hold than flashes.
- Group the sequence into chunks of three or four rather than trying to remember each step separately.
- Do not tap early. Wait for the Your turn message so the pads are ready.
- Screen reader users hear the full colour sequence announced at the start of every round.
FAQ
- Does the speed change?
- Yes. The flashes get a little quicker as the sequence grows, down to a fixed minimum.
- Where is my best score kept?
- Only on this device, in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
- Is there a daily version?
- Not yet. Every run is random, so each game is a fresh sequence.
