Flag Fuzz
Name the flag as it comes slowly into focus. The fewer wrong guesses before it sharpens, the more points you win. Five blurry flags every day.
How to play
- A heavily blurred flag appears with five country names to choose from. Pick the one you think it is.
- Each wrong pick sharpens the flag. Getting it on the first guess scores 4 points, then 3, 2 and 1.
- After four wrong guesses the answer is revealed and the flag scores nothing.
- Five flags make a round worth up to 20 points, and your total earns a grade you can share.
Tips and strategy
- Look at the layout first: horizontal or vertical stripes, a cross, a triangle or a single disc.
- Colour proportions give plenty away. A thin white band or a wide red field often decides between lookalikes.
- Eliminating options helps. Cross out the names whose flags you know are different.
- Nordic flags share a layout, so the colours are what tell them apart.
FAQ
- Why are some flags missing?
- The flags are drawn from simple shapes. Flags with detailed crests or many stars are left out for now.
- Is it the same five flags for everyone?
- Yes. The daily round changes at 00:00 UTC, and practice mode gives unlimited extra rounds.
- Do wrong guesses cost anything else?
- Only points. Every wrong guess makes the next try easier but is worth one point less.
