Ball Line
Slide coloured balls across a nine by nine board and line up five of a colour to clear them. Three new balls arrive after every move, so plan ahead before it fills.
How to play
- Tap a ball, then tap an empty square. The ball slides there if there is a clear path of empty squares.
- Make a row, column or diagonal of five or more balls of one colour and they disappear.
- If your move did not clear a line, three new balls appear. Clearing a line gives you a free turn.
- The game ends when the board is full or no ball can move. Your score is the balls cleared with bonuses for long lines.
Tips and strategy
- Keep one big open area. Scattered balls wall off paths and cost you moves.
- Build lines of four first, then bring the fifth ball in from far away.
- Look at the Next preview. Spawns can block a line you are building.
- Use Hint when you are unsure. It shows a line-completing move if one exists.
FAQ
- Why will a ball not move?
- The square must be reachable through empty squares in straight steps, not diagonals. A wall of balls blocks the path.
- What scores the most?
- Lines longer than five score progressively more, so aim for six or seven.
- Is colour the only clue?
- No. Each colour also has its own symbol.
