Timeline Sort
Put five historic events in the order they happened, oldest first. Three rounds a day, scored by how many events you place correctly.
How to play
- Each round shows five historic events in a random order. Arrange them from earliest to latest using the up and down arrows.
- Press Lock in when you are happy. Each event in its correct position scores a point.
- After locking in, every event shows its year so you learn the real order. Then move on to the next round.
- Three rounds make fifteen points in total. Share your score without spoiling the order.
Tips and strategy
- Place the events you are sure about first, then slot the uncertain ones in between.
- Look for clues in the event itself, such as technology, names or the language used.
- Think in centuries before years. Even narrowing an event to a rough era narrows the order a lot.
- Every event in the game has a different year, so there are never ties to worry about.
FAQ
- Is there only one right order?
- Yes. Every event has a different year, so each set of five has exactly one correct order.
- Do I lose points for moving events a lot?
- No. You can rearrange as often as you like before you lock in.
- When do new rounds appear?
- The daily rounds change at 00:00 UTC. Practice mode gives unlimited extra sets.
