Tap Blast
Tap groups of two or more matching colours to pop them. Tiles fall and columns slide together. Bigger groups score far more.
How to play
- Tap any tile that touches at least one tile of the same colour above, below, left or right. The whole connected group pops.
- Tiles above the gap fall down, and empty columns slide together from the right.
- A group of N tiles scores (N minus 1) squared, so a group of 6 is worth 25 and a group of 10 is worth 81.
- The round ends when no matching neighbours are left. Clearing the entire board adds a 200 point bonus.
Tips and strategy
- Do not pop every small pair. Let a colour build into one big group first.
- Work from the top so the lower tiles stay put and you can see the groups forming.
- Watch for single tiles stuck in a column. Once isolated they can never be popped.
- Each tile also carries a shape, so colours are easy to tell apart.
FAQ
- Does a diagonal touch count?
- No. Only tiles that share an edge belong to the same group.
- Why do big groups score so much?
- The score is the group size minus one, squared, so doubling a group roughly quadruples its points.
- Can I get a perfect board?
- Sometimes. Clearing every tile adds a 200 point bonus, though luck of the draw decides whether it is possible.
