Rally
Side-on table tennis against the computer. Let the ball bounce, then drive or lob it back and place it where the bot cannot reach. First to eleven.
How to play
- Hold the left and right buttons to slide your paddle along your half of the table. Press Drive or Lob to serve.
- Let the ball bounce on your side first, then press Drive or Lob while it is within reach of your paddle.
- Drive is fast and flat but can clip the net if you hit it low. Lob is a slow high arc that always clears the net.
- Where the ball meets the paddle steers the shot: hit it in front of the paddle for a deeper return. First to 11, win by 2.
Tips and strategy
- Move the paddle before the bounce. The ball loses speed after it lands, so be waiting near the spot.
- Mix Drive and Lob. Lobs buy you time to get back to the centre.
- Aim away from the bot. If it is near the net, send the ball deep, and if it is far back, drop it short.
- The serve alternates every two points, and every point once the score reaches 10-10.
FAQ
- Why did the point end?
- A message under the board tells you: hit the net, bounced on the wrong side, let it bounce twice, missed the table, or could not return it.
- What do the levels change?
- The bot's speed and how often it makes a mistake. Hard moves fast, aims for the corners and rarely misses.
- What is my Best score?
- Your longest rally, counted in hits, across all your matches.
