Free Throw
Stop a sweeping power meter inside the sweet zone to sink the shot. Each new spot needs a different power, and one miss ends the run.
How to play
- Press Shoot (or Space or Enter) to stop the power meter. The meter sweeps up and down on its own.
- The shaded sweet zone on the meter shows the power the current spot needs. Land inside it for a clean swish.
- Just outside the zone the ball hits the rim, and it can drop in or bounce out. Further out it falls short or sails long.
- Each make adds one to your streak and moves you to a new spot. One miss ends the run.
Tips and strategy
- Closer spots need less power, so the sweet zone sits low on the meter. Far spots need a lot.
- Do not chase the marker. Pick a spot on the meter and press when the marker reaches it.
- The zone shrinks and the meter speeds up as your streak grows, so rhythm helps more than reaction.
- A rim shot is a coin flip, so treat it as a near miss and aim for the middle of the zone.
FAQ
- Why does the sweet zone move?
- Every spot on the court needs a different amount of power. The zone shows where the marker needs to stop for the current spot.
- Is there any luck involved?
- Only on rim shots, which go in half the time. A press inside the zone always scores.
- Does the game get harder?
- Yes. The zone gets narrower and the meter faster as your streak grows, down to a minimum width.
