Cue Break
A quick pool challenge with nine balls and twelve shots. Line up the cue, set the power and pot as many as you can for combos, without scratching.
How to play
- Tap or drag on the table to point the cue, or use the Angle slider. A dotted guide line shows where the cue ball will first touch something.
- Set the Power slider, then press Shoot. Wait for every ball to stop before the next shot.
- Each potted ball scores 10 points. Every extra ball potted in the same shot adds 5 more. Potting the white cue ball is a scratch and costs 10 points.
- You get twelve shots. Clear all nine balls and they are racked again, with two bonus shots.
Tips and strategy
- Use the guide circle. If it turns solid, the cue ball is about to hit an object ball.
- A softer shot is easier to control. Save full power for the break and for balls far from a pocket.
- Cannon the first ball into a second one. Combos are where the big scores come from.
- After a scratch the cue ball returns to the spot, so a risky shot only costs you the 10 points.
FAQ
- Is this real eight ball or nine ball?
- No. It is a simplified score attack with nine numbered balls, six pockets and a fixed number of shots, so there are no turns or fouls beyond a scratch.
- Can I play against someone?
- Not directly. Try for the best score and compare totals with a friend.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. Drag your finger on the table to aim and use the sliders for angle and power.
