Bow Aim
Archery with a crosswind. Set your angle and power, read the wind, and loose ten arrows at targets that change distance and height every shot.
How to play
- Choose your angle by dragging on the board or with the Aim up and down buttons. Set power with the plus and minus buttons.
- Press Shoot to fire at the set power, or hold Hold to draw and release to shoot at the power you reach.
- The wind at the top pushes the arrow sideways and changes every shot. A bigger number means a bigger push.
- The target rings score 10 in the middle down to 1 on the edge. Ten arrows, a perfect game is 100.
Tips and strategy
- A headwind or tailwind changes your range, so adjust power rather than angle to correct for it.
- Hit the same target twice in a row? Try the same power with a one-degree change to see how far it moves.
- Lower angles fly flatter and are less affected by small power errors at short range.
- The power gauge keeps its last value, so you often only need to nudge the angle on the next shot.
FAQ
- Is every target hittable?
- Yes. Every round has a bullseye shot somewhere in the angle and power range, and the game is tested to prove that.
- Why does the wind matter if it only pushes sideways?
- A tailwind or headwind changes how long the arrow takes to reach the target, which changes how far it drops by then.
- Can I aim without a mouse?
- Yes. Up and Down keys change the angle, Left and Right change power, Space draws and releases, and Enter shoots.
