Tilt Maze
Tilt the board to roll a ball through a maze to the green goal. Drag, use the keys, or turn on your phone's tilt sensor, and avoid the holes along the way.
How to play
- Tilt the board and the ball rolls downhill. Drag on the board, hold the arrow buttons or keys, or press Use device tilt on a phone.
- Roll the ball from the top left to the green goal. Each maze is new and a little bigger than the last.
- Dark holes drop the ball back to the start and cost you four seconds, so steer around them.
- You start with 60 seconds and gain 14 for each maze you finish. Score is the number of mazes cleared.
Tips and strategy
- Tilt gently. The ball keeps its speed, so a long hard tilt overshoots turns.
- Use walls as brakes. Letting the ball bump along a wall is often safer than steering in open space.
- Holes only sit in dead ends, never on the way to the goal, so they only matter if you wander.
- On a phone, hold it flat and tilt a little. The sensor takes a moment to settle.
FAQ
- Does the phone tilt option work on every device?
- It needs a motion sensor and, on iPhones, your permission when you press the button. Drag and keys always work as well.
- Why does the ball slide on after I stop tilting?
- It has momentum, as a real ball would. Tilt the other way briefly to slow it.
- Is every maze solvable?
- Yes. Each one is built as a perfect maze with exactly one route to the goal, and holes are never on that route.
