Peg Drop
Aim and drop ten balls through a forest of pegs and hope they bounce into the big-score slots at the edges. Pure bouncy luck with a little aim.
How to play
- Tap the board or use the arrow buttons to choose where the ball will start, then press Drop.
- The ball bounces off the pegs on its way down and lands in one of nine slots at the bottom.
- The middle slot pays 1 point and the slots get richer toward the edges, up to 50 points on each side.
- You have ten balls. Your total after the last ball is your score.
Tips and strategy
- Dropping from the edge keeps the ball near the side wall, where the 50-point slots are, but the pegs push it back toward the middle.
- The pegs add a little random jitter to every bounce, so two drops from the same spot never land the same way.
- Do not chase the last result. Each ball starts fresh, so a bad drop says nothing about the next one.
- Use the keyboard for fine aim: the arrow keys nudge the drop point and Space drops the ball.
FAQ
- Is it all luck?
- Mostly, but your start position matters. Balls tend to land near where they begin, so aiming toward the edges raises both your top score and your risk.
- Can a ball get stuck?
- No. If a ball stalls against a peg or the wall, the game gives it a small kick so it always reaches a slot.
- What is a good score?
- Around 150 is a solid run across ten balls. Anything above 250 means the edge slots were kind to you.
