Coin Stack Sort
Move single coins between pegs of different heights until each colour has its own peg. Coins land on the same colour or an empty peg. Endless levels with hints.
How to play
- Tap a peg to pick up its top coin, then tap another peg to put it down.
- A coin can only land on an empty peg or on a coin of the same colour, and the peg must have room.
- Pegs have different heights and colours have different coin counts, so check the number under each peg.
- You win a level when every colour sits on a single peg. Undo, Restart and Hint are free to use.
Tips and strategy
- Free up a spare peg early. An empty peg is the most useful tool you have.
- Work on the colour with the fewest coins first. It clears quickly and frees space.
- Moving a coin away from a stack of two matching coins rarely helps. Move the one that is on top of the wrong colour.
- Every level can be solved. If you get stuck, Undo a few moves or press Hint.

- How is this different from a tube sort?
- Pegs here have different heights, colours have different numbers of coins, and a colour only has to end up on one peg. It does not need to fill it.
- Are the levels always solvable?
- Yes. Each level is built by scrambling a solved layout, so a solution always exists.
- Does the game save my level?
- Yes. Your level and best level are stored in your browser.
