Blob Idle
Feed a tiny speck until it becomes a planet eater. Gulp food, turn it into mass, and spend mass on spawners, mouths and auto eaters.
How to play
- Food appears around your blob over time. Tap Gulp to eat as much as your mouth allows and turn it into mass.
- Spend mass on upgrades: more food, a bigger field, a wider mouth, auto eaters and richer food.
- Your blob changes form as your all time mass grows, from Speck all the way to Planet eater.
- Your progress saves in this browser, and auto eaters keep working at half speed for up to an hour while you are away.
Tips and strategy
- Food stops appearing when the field is full, so bigger fields and wider mouths pay off together.
- Auto eaters can only eat what spawns, so raise Food spawn as you buy them.
- Rich food multiplies every bite, tap and auto eater alike. It is the strongest long term upgrade.
- Do not leave a full field sitting. Eat it before the spawner stalls.
FAQ
- Is this the same as Blob Grow?
- No. Blob Grow is a live arena where you steer a blob and eat smaller ones. Blob Idle is a calm upgrade game with no steering.
- Is there an end to the game?
- Each upgrade tops out at level 25 and the last form is Planet eater, so there is a finish to reach.
- Will I lose progress if I close the tab?
- No. It saves every few seconds and when you leave the page, and restores next time you visit.
