Pixel Paint
Draw pixel art on an 8, 16 or 24 square canvas with sixteen colours, fill and undo. Share a link to your drawing or save it as a PNG.
How to play
- Pick a canvas size, then a colour, then tap or drag on the grid to paint. Use Erase to clear a square and Fill to flood a whole area.
- Undo takes back the last stroke, and Clear wipes the canvas (Undo brings it back). On a keyboard, move with the arrow keys and paint with Space.
- Share link makes a web address that holds your whole drawing. Anyone who opens it sees your art. Save PNG downloads a picture.
- Each canvas size keeps its own drawing in your browser, so you can come back and carry on.
Tips and strategy
- Block in big shapes with Fill first, then add detail with single squares.
- Start on the 8 by 8 canvas. It forces simple shapes, and a good icon is easier than you think.
- Dark grey outlines make bright colours stand out.
- Draw one half of a face or a ship and copy it across by eye to keep things symmetrical.
FAQ
- Where is my drawing saved?
- Only in your browser on this device. Use Share link or Save PNG if you want a copy elsewhere.
- How long is the share link?
- It grows with the canvas. A 24 by 24 drawing makes the longest link, which still fits in a normal message.
- Can I import a photo?
- No. Pixel Paint is for drawing by hand.
