Pin Strike
Flick a bowling ball down the lane at ten pins and play a full ten frame game with proper strike and spare scoring and a live scoreboard.
How to play
- Pick where the ball starts by tapping near the bottom of the lane or using the aim arrows, then flick upward to throw. You can also press Roll for a straight throw.
- You get two balls per frame to knock down all ten pins. Ten frames make a game.
- A strike is all ten pins on the first ball and scores 10 plus your next two balls. A spare is all ten in two balls and scores 10 plus your next ball.
- A strike or spare in the tenth frame earns bonus balls. The best possible score is 300.
Tips and strategy
- Aim for the gap between the front pin and the pin beside it, called the pocket, not the middle of the front pin.
- A gentle sideways angle from the edge of the lane often hits harder than a straight throw.
- Left over pins after the first ball are usually easier to clear from the opposite side of the lane.
- Keep out of the gutters. The ball never comes back from them.
FAQ
- How do the pins fall?
- Pins fall when they are hit hard enough, then slide and knock into the pins behind them, so a good first hit can clear the whole rack.
- Is the scoring the same as real ten pin bowling?
- Yes. Strikes and spares get their bonuses, a perfect game is 300, and the tenth frame gives up to three balls.
- Can I play with a keyboard?
- Yes. Use the left and right arrows to move the ball and Space or Enter to roll.
