Gem Match
Swap neighbouring gems to line up three or more. Chain cascades for a big score in 30 moves.
How to play
- Swap two neighbouring gems so that three or more of the same shape line up in a row or column.
- Click one gem then a neighbour, drag or swipe a gem toward a neighbour, or use the arrow keys and Enter.
- Matched gems vanish, the ones above fall down, and new gems drop in. Any new matches that form (a cascade) score more.
- You have 30 moves. Swaps that make no match are rejected and cost nothing. Your best score is saved on this device.
Tips and strategy
- Look near the bottom first: matches there shake the whole board and set up free cascades.
- Matching four or five in a line earns a bonus, so look for those before settling for three.
- Cascades multiply: the second chain scores double and the third triple, so plan swaps that open the board.
- Stuck? The Hint button shows a legal swap. The board reshuffles on its own if no moves remain.
FAQ
- Does an invalid swap use a move?
- No. If the swap would not make a match, the gems slide back and your move count stays the same.
- Can I play with the keyboard?
- Yes. Focus the board, move with the arrow keys, press Enter to select a gem, then press an arrow to swap it that way.
